We call this trip is “Mountain to the Bay trip “. If you want to explore the different hill tribes on the Sa Pa Mountains and natural world heritage Halong bay as well as the capital city of Hanoi, this trip will make you satisfy with your expectancy, let’s enjoy.

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi Capital

Warmly welcome on arrival in Hanoi airport. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Welcome dinner at  restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi-Sapa - Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai Village (B/L/D)

06:30 – 7:00 : Tour guide pick you up at the hotel and depart to Lao Cai city, using the new highway running from Noi Bai - Lao Cai (245Km) in  5 hours.

12:30 Arrival Sa Pa town , Enjoy lunch at local restaurant then proceed to visit.

1122 113:30 Drive and Tourguide take you to the gate of Lao chai village start trekking to Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai village, exploring the local ethnic minorities life, admire the spectacular natural scenery with the terraced rice fields.

 

17:00 Bus take you back to Sapa town, have dinner at restaurant … and overnight at hotel in Sa Pa Town

 

Day 3: SaPa town – Ham Rong mountain (B/L/D)

7:30 After breakfast, feeling the air and daily life activities of local ethnic people of Sapa town.

images 10 58:30 Guide take you around Sapa centre before climbing the mountain Ham Rong – one of spectacular and wonderful peak of Sapa, where you can exercise your health and discover the natural beauty of  life. From the top of this peak, you can have a panorama over the surrounding area.

12:00 Come back to restaurant and have lunch, enjoy your time with comfort! After lunch, you have all time free in afternoon and night for leasure and shopping.

18:30 After dinner, spend time for yourself  at the cooling air of this touristic place.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Sa Pa - Lao Cai - Bac Ha (Sunday Market) (B, L, D)

Starting from Sapa, you will first visit the Bac Ha market, located in the mountains near the Chinese border. Although small, this market is extremely colourful. You can see many ethnic minority people going to the market from their villages to sell or buy goods. The Flower H’mong minority is the most common here; adorned with their colourful dresses and jewellery and you will have endless photo opportunities. Take your time and stroll through the market. Then stop for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy an easy trek to Ban Pho village and visit the old castle of the former H’mong King.

Day 5: Bac Ha - Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang (B, L, D)

images 9 1After breakfast. Today we will Ride all day to go to Ha Giang city via Xi Man and Hoang Su Phi. Along the way we can encounter the ethnic people: Nung, Tay, Red Dzao, La Chi, Co Lao and some tribe stay on the hill, groups who have settled in the area. Hoang Su Phi are also very famous for their terraced rice fields cultivated by local peoples for hundreds years. Lunch en route at Hoang Su Phi town.

Continue ride to Ha Giang with stop to visit Tay hill tribe’s village and enjoy beautiful scene of rivers, forests and mountain of Northeast Vietnam. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 6: Ha Giang - Sa Phin - Dong Van (B, L, D)

nui doi quan ba3 The remote region of Dong Van and Meo Vac is a land of rugged mountains and beautiful hill tribe villages which have remained unchanged for centuries. Today we head northwest out of Ha Giang Town towards this northernmost tip of Vietnam. The former H’mong royal house at Sa Phin is a primary attraction of the region, but the blend of the hill tribe people's colourful costumes and the majestic mountainous scenery make this long and sometimes bumpy trip an unforgettable experience. Overnight in Dong Van Town

 Day 7: Dong Van - Meo Vac - Ba Be Lake (B, L, D) 

images 67 2Today, the journey takes you through the rolling hills and the picturesque scenery to Ba Be National Park. We will visit Dong Van town before crossing a stunning mountain pass to Meo Vac which is inhabited mostly by the Lo Lo and Pu Peo ethnic minority people. They still retain their centuries old cultural traditions and are recognisably distinct from each other by their dress. The remoteness and the simple lifestyle of the area’s local people are highlights of Meo Vac. Living conditions are very basic here. Roads are bumpy and zigzagging through the mountains, but the journey is more than rewarding. Meet the locals and learn more about the life and culture of the Hmong, Dao, Tay and Nung ethnic minorities who make for the main population in this region. Surely, your presence will attract the locals’ attention as this part of the country that still receives very few visitors. Depending on road and traffic conditions, we arrive in Ba Be by late afternoon or early evening.

 Day 8: Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)

The legendary lake of Ba Be is just one continuous water body although the name means “three lakes”.

images 7Today we embark on a boat cruising down the Nang River which is the main water source of the lake. This tranquil boat trip will give you a taste of the picturesque countryside at Ba Be National Park. We will visit the Puong Grotto before stopping at some nearby hill tribe villages. We will also have time to visit the scenic Dau Dang waterfalls.

 

 

Day 9: Ba Be - Ha Noi (B, L) 

After breakfast we will start our journey back to Hanoi . On the way we will have lunch in a local restaurant and we also pay a visit to the Thai Nguyen Minority and Culture Museum where we can learn something about the culture and traditions of the different minority groups in Vietnam. We should arrive back in Hanoi, at around 6pm.

Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L)

Arrive in Hanoi at around 5 am in the morning. Pick up from here, transfer to local restaurant for a breakfast and morning coffee.

On arrival, we'll take a car/van trip to visit Cat Ba national park. short trekking is provided to explore the park. At noon time, we drive to Cat Ba town for the check in and lunch. Afternoon is your free time to explore the lifestyle of the local people here or enjoy the specialties in the local market in the town. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Cat Ba Island.

Day 12: Cat Ba - Hai Phong - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu (B/L/D)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel, and then check out for the departure to Hai Phong City by high speed boat. On your arrival in Hai Phong city, our guide and driver will take you to visit some most beautiful historic sites in Hai Phong such as: Du Hang Pagoda, Hang Kenh pagoad, Hai Phong International Port... Lunch will be served in Hai Phong city. Afternoon, drive to Ninh Binh province with a stop in Tam Coc. Have dinner & overnight in the hotel in Tam Coc.

Day 13: Tam Coc - Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B/L/-)

download 4 3Breakfast at the hotel and then take a boat trip to visit Tam Coc. Have lunch at local restaurant. After that drive to Hoa Lu for visiting 2 beautiful temple of Dinh and Le king, the first capital of Vietnam. Then drive back to Hanoi. Arrival Hanoi around 5 pm. Finish trip.

 

 

 

Day 14: Hanoi City Tour (B/L/D)

Day 15: Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City (B/D)

6You will go to HCMC in the morning and in the afternoon have a private tour of the country's commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale restaurants and shops. You will visit Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. You should also visit the powerful War Remnants Museum. You'll stroll through the city's main shopping boulevard with fashionable boutiques and hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and house-wares. You will have an overnight stay in HCMC.

Day 16:Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

There is no activity planned for today so you are free to go for souvenir shopping until transfer to the HCMC airport for your departing flight.
